This year's program book is shaping up wonderfully, with lots of beautiful photographs capturing triumphs, tragedies, memories, and great moments from throughout the music year.

The deadline for submitting and completing the design of your dedications is now Saturday, 4/29. If you need help with the design, just submit your written dedication portion with photographs to Leslie per the instructions below. If you don't have a recent photo of your student, you can have us use the recent portraits that were taken at school. Please just send us the written portion of the dedication, an indication of the size you want, that you want us to use the portrait photo, and we will handle the rest.

These dedications are a great way to celebrate someone special. They are one way that parents can show their love and support for their kids. They are also a great way to show your support for this phenomenal, award-winning music program here at El Toro. Students can submit dedications as well, to their friends, coaches, teachers, family, and whomever they wish to remember or thank.

The dedications are also part of how we fundraise to pay for the expense of printing the books. So even if you have the slightest inclination to put in a dedication ad, don't hesitate!  If you want to submit a dedication for your student, today is the last day to submit one. Instructions are below.

El Toro High School Instrumental Music and Color Guard students and their families are invited to celebrate our many accomplishments at the end of an outstanding and memorable year for the music program!

To that end, the boosters have organized an evening banquet, to be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM, in the banquet rooms at the Lake Forest Community Center (part of the new Lake Forest City Hall Complex). Guests will enjoy a catered, three-course buffet dinner, followed by a year-end awards ceremony.

Semi-formal attire is requested.

Invitations were handed out in class today by Mr. Miller. Tickets are $15 for students and $35 for guests. Student ticket costs are being subsidized by the Boosters to keep this event affordable for the students. Tickets can be purchased by submitting a check or cash with your RSVP, or by using the PayPal button below. Please purchase your tickets by May 13th for early bird pricing. Pricing increases on May 14th by $5 per ticket. Get yours now before they all sell out! Purchasing tickets on PayPal will constitute a formal RSVP. Last day to RSVP/purchase tickets will be May 20th. Sorry, but NO tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event.

All instrumental music students (except Jazz Band) will be required to wear formal concert attire for the 2021-2022 music season, as described below.

Girls
Girls will have two options: 1) dress or 2) shirt & pants combo.

• Dress: “Angelina” Cap sleeve, scoop neck floor-length gown with empire waistband and back-ties.
  
• Shirt & Pants: “Melony” crew neck, short-sleeve, pull-over shirt; “Lizzie” Palazzo pants with elastic waist and extra full-pant legs.
  
• Shoes: Flat-heeled black shoes or Ballare flat-heel rubber sole with strap.  Available in ladies’ sizes 5-12, medium widths.
  

Boys
Boys will wear a black tuxedo (with white shirt and royal blue bow tie).

• Tuxedo Package: “Hugh” tuxedo coat & adjustable trousers, white shirt with wing-tip collar, cummerbund & bow tie.
• Shoes: Formal high gloss, lace up, with hard rubber sole.  Available in men’s sizes 6½ to 12, medium & wide widths, and sizes 13 to 15.

You will place your order directly with Cousins at their website.  You may provide your own formal black shoes or order from Cousins Concert Attire.

Please note:  All garments come without a hem. In the past, we successfully used Original Hems Studio, 23034 Lake Forest Dr., Lake Forest (949) 916-0111. But you can use your own alterations shop or do the alterations yourself.

Please remember to leave time for ordering, shipping, and alterations to have your concert attire ready on time. Ordering deadline is October 8th. Late orders will be accepted, but they will not likely arrive in time for the December concert.

We have a limited quantity of gently used attire available as well. Please inquire for details with Fidelma.
