The El Toro High School Music Banquet takes place on Tuesday, May 23, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM, in the banquet rooms at the Lake Forest Community Center (part of the Lake Forest City Hall Complex). Guests will enjoy a catered, three-course buffet dinner, followed by a year-end awards ceremony.
Semi-formal attire is requested. No tickets will be sold at the door. If you purchased your tickets online already, your name will appear on the guest list; there is nothing you need to bring with you to the event. We are looking forward to celebrating the end of a spectacular music year with everyone. See you Tuesday night! We need drink donations for Tuesday night's music banquet! El Toro High School Instrumental Music and Color Guard students and their families are invited to celebrate our many accomplishments at the end of an outstanding and memorable year for the music program. To that end, the boosters have organized an evening banquet, to be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM, in the banquet rooms at the Lake Forest Community Center (part of the Lake Forest City Hall Complex). Guests will enjoy a catered, three-course buffet dinner, followed by a year-end awards ceremony. Semi-formal attire is requested. Tickets are $20 for students and $40 for guests. Student ticket costs are being subsidized by the Boosters to keep this event affordable for the students. Tickets can be purchased online, either by using the PayPal button or the scan-code in the downloadable flyer below. Tickets are ONLY available online. Please purchase your tickets by May 15th. Purchasing tickets using the button below will constitute a formal RSVP. Sorry, but NO tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our President-elect for the 2023-24 school year will no longer be able to accept the position. We will be holding a special election at the May General Boosters meeting on Tuesday, May 2nd, at 6:30 PM, to fill the vacancy. The meeting will be held in the Band Room.
The position is open to all Booster parents (parents with students in the music program). Any interested candidates should contact our Parlimentarian Sandra Fletcher, by email or phone. THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT DEDICATION ADS TO THE YEARBOOK HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SATURDAY. GET YOURS IN TODAY! This year's program book is shaping up wonderfully, with lots of beautiful photographs capturing triumphs, tragedies, memories, and great moments from throughout the music year. We are still accepting student dedications! The deadline for submitting and completing the design of your dedications is now Saturday, 4/29. If you need help with the design, just submit your written dedication portion with photographs to Leslie per the instructions below. If you don't have a recent photo of your student, you can have us use the recent portraits that were taken at school. Please just send us the written portion of the dedication, an indication of the size you want, that you want us to use the portrait photo, and we will handle the rest. Why offer a dedication?These dedications are a great way to celebrate someone special. They are one way that parents can show their love and support for their kids. They are also a great way to show your support for this phenomenal, award-winning music program here at El Toro. Students can submit dedications as well, to their friends, coaches, teachers, family, and whomever they wish to remember or thank. Dedications help fund the Yearbook The dedications are also part of how we fundraise to pay for the expense of printing the books. So even if you have the slightest inclination to put in a dedication ad, don't hesitate! If you want to submit a dedication for your student, today is the last day to submit one.
