RBR's FINAL competition of the season will be at the WBA State Grand Championship on Sunday, 11/20, being held at Chaffey High School in Ontario. Tickets for admission are $30 for Adults, $25 for Military with ID, $20 for children 5-112, and free for children under 5. Spectator parking is $10. We hope to see you out there. RBR competed in the AA Division and finished with a season-high score of 86.625.
Congratulations to our kids, Boosters, coaches, staff, and Music Director Brandon Miller! Sunday, the RBR returns to compete in the 1A/2A/3A Group State Grand Championship. Congratulations go out to the members of the Royal Blue Regiment! This past Saturday they competed in their fifth and final competition of the season at the Trabuco Hills "Tournament in the Hills" WBA Regional Championship. The regional championship was held for schools in Southern California in lieu of the normal statewide competition, which was preempted this year due to pandemic cautions. Competing in the 3A Division, the R-B-R earned second place in their division with a score of 87.000, a mere 0.15 points behind first place! They also won a Caption Award for Color Guard (1st Place), and 1st place in Music Ensemble. Complete results can be viewed on the WBA site.
This was a phenomenal showing in the first full year of competition since 2019. Many thanks go out to Mr. Miller, the technical staff and coaches, and the Booster Board, volunteers, and parents, for all your hard work and support this season. Again, the students will be performing this season's show, "Building Towards Tomorrow," featuring a musical piece entitled, "A Bridge Between Two Eras."
