Camp days & PracticesBand Camp is held the generally the first 2 weeks in August or the two weeks prior to the start of school.
In the fall, the marching band,rehearses Mondays and Tuesdays after school, and Thursday evenings. With an occasional rehearsal after school on Friday. |
Fourth of July ParadeThe annual Fourth of July Parade kicks off the year, showcasing Lake Forest's sole marching band.
To prepare for the parade there are often camp days held in June and right before the parade. |
Football games
Football games begin in August. At home football games, the RBR performs a half-time exhibition of their field show. For all football games they perform as a pep band, supporting the football team and representing our Chargers.

Field Show CompetitionsCompetition season begins in October. This Fall (2024-2025), RBR will compete in both California State Band Championships (CSBC) and Western Band Association (WBA) events.
