Tonight at 7 PM, El Toro High School will be hosting the Winter Music Showcase, featuring performances by Winter Guard performing their show, "Hands of Time", the Serrano Drumline, and by Winter Percussion performing their show, "Nature's Lament".

There will be no charge for entry; friends and family are encouraged to attend. We will also be hosting a Bake Sale fundraiser with lots of baked goodies and treats.

Please come out and enjoy what is sure to be a special evening of musical performances!

Winter Percussion will be returning to practice this week with the following schedule:

• Monday, 4/10. Call time is 4:35 PM, rehearsal from 5 to 8:15 PM, and pickup at 9 PM for parents.
  
• Friday, 4/14. Call time is 4:35 PM, rehearsal from 5 to 8:15 PM, and pickup at 9 PM for parents.

We will soon post information regarding the Winter Percussion Showcase that is to take place during the week of 4/24. Please stay tuned.

Tonight, immediately following the General Boosters' Meeting, we are having our parents' meeting for both Winter Guard and Winter Percussion programs. Parents of children in both programs will gather together for a general overview and then split into their program groups to discuss specifics to winter guard and specifics to winter percussion. All parents with children in either program are encouraged to attend. We will be meeting in the band room.

Winter percussion clinics begin today at 5 PM. If you're looking to complement your fall RBR experience, Winter Percussion is a great way to fill-in the off-season and gain additional experience in a music-in-motion ensemble (for RBR Color Guard, there is Winter Guard). Plus, you don't have to enroll in Physical Ed for the semester.
Clinic dates and times from now to the end of the year are as follows:

• Mondays 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, from 5 to 9 PM.
• Fridays 12/2, 12/9/ 12/16, from 6 to 9 PM.

There will be a parent orientation meeting on Thursday, December 8th.
