Photo by Mahad Aamir on Unsplash Please come out and celebrate the End-of-Band Camp and last days of summer with a day at the beach and evening bonfire! It's our traditional Beach Day Celebration, held annually for the RBR students and family at the conclusion of Band Camp.
We have a picnic area with a fire ring reserved past dusk. Several of us plan to arrive early. Expect a day of fun with family and friends. The event will be from 1 to 9 PM. We will supply dinner and dessert around 5 PM, which will be pizza, drinks, and s’mores. Plan to buy or bring your own lunch, drinks, and snacks if you are spending the entire day and plan to eat earlier. You can bring a beach towel, lounge chair, sunscreen, a hat, a swimsuit, and a sun umbrella. There are volleyball courts nearby too. Parents and students are both welcome. Cost is nothing for RBR Students and $5 per parent or family member. There is also a flyer you can print out below. The location is the same as before: Huntington Beach State Beach, Newland Ramada Picnic Area D (which is confusingly the same exact location as Picnic Area A). The map to the location is below. Parking is approximately $20. The lot fills up quickly, so please plan accordingly. Enter the parking lot at the Beach Blvd. or Magnolia St entrance, since Newland St. is closed, and park as close as you can to Newland St. Our campsite is right across from the power plant. The previous Beach Day we hosted last year was a blast. We hope you can come out. See you there!

Meeting Agenda At this meeting, you will learn about the Football Season, Band Camp, End-of-Band-Camp Celebration, and more! Come a few minutes early and you can have a nice cold treat with Kona Ice! We are excited for a fabulous new Fall marching season, and the start of Band Camp! Please see the information in the PDF brochure below for a lot of important information for this week, and read it through beginning to end! Open Board Positions We are looking for someone to be our Ways & Means (Fundraiser) Chair, as well as liaisons for Jazz Band and Winter Percussion. Please reach out to us if you are interested in these positions, and our Parliamentarian will contact you to give you more information about the positions. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight.
