Our next monthly General Booster Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 20th, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. All Booster parents are encouraged to attend (i.e. every parent with a child in the music program). We will be meeting in the band room on campus. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
We will be distributing RBR Parent Show Shirts, along with other spirit wear items that you ordered. We will be discussing the upcoming RBR competitions, along with the remaining RBR competitions, Band Fest (what is this, you ask? We will be discussing.), the upcoming Holiday concerts, ordering of concert attire, the Disney Opportunity Drawing Fundraiser, and the kick-off of the Christmas Mickman’s Greenery Sale! Once the meeting ends, we will be going out to the football field to watch RBR's show run-through, and helping push pit and the newly completed Blue Forest props. So please come out, and hope to see you all there!

Last week was a busy week! All of the groups at the concert on Wednesday night sounded fantastic! Friday, we had an amazing time meeting our Serrano 8th Graders and celebrating our RBR Seniors at the football game.
To end the week, the RBR took first place at their competition on Saturday right as the storm hit and ended the competition for the day. Well done RBR! Disney Opportunity Drawing:
Tonight is our annual 8th Grade Night with Serrano Intermediate School. Serrano 8th Graders will be joining our music students this late afternoon to perform together. This event gives us a chance to get to know our Serrano 8th graders who plan to attend El Toro next year, along with their parents who we hope will be joining the Boosters as well.
Friday night will be a busy one for RBR, for tonight is the night we honor RBR Seniors! It's Senior Night at the football game. Parents, students, and family need to be at the football stadium prior to 7 PM. We will be hosting a ceremony for the seniors prior to the start of the game. Come out and support them, then stay for the game. We need many parent volunteers: videographer and photographer are the most important for the ceremony (our usual photographer will be in the ceremony and cannot perform camera duty). We will also need prop and pit pushers for the halftime show, more than usual, for our very dedicated senior parents will not be able to assist due to their ceremony and leaving at the end of half-time with their seniors as they continue their celebration! Please sign-up for duties here. The football game will be a pink out game in support of breast cancer research. Please wear pink if you want to show your support. WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND! RBR competed in their first competition of the season at Costa Mesa HS and took 3rd Place in their division! Congratulations on a job well done!
Thank you so much to our many Volunteers this Past weekend! We truly could not have had such a successful event without your assistance. You made this weekend truly pleasurable and we appreciate you all! This week is going to be a busy one for members of the ETHS Music Program. Here's the schedule at a quick glance. October 2022 Newsletter Photo by Greyson Joralemon on Unsplash Saturday morning from 10 AM to 2 PM we will be out by the trailer on campus continuing our prop build for the RBR season. We need all the volunteers we can get to do the building work, so if you have the time, skills, and inclination, we need your help!
We will be putting together a stage and cutting the tree props. We will be working with plywood, so if you have any power tools, please bring them. We need jigsaws, circular saws, drills, stands, and angle grinders. Go to the Gate on Toledo and you will see the open gates to the back of the field. Enter through here and drive back to the storage bins. Sign-up to volunteer here. See you out there! Come out and support our Chargers Football team for tonight's home game against the Camarillo Scorpions, with the RBR Marching Band performing. Signup for volunteer duties, or just come out and enjoy the game with the Music Boosters, volunteers, and staff. We also need chaperones; please sign-up here for chaperone duty.
The game starts at 7:00 PM. Volunteers should come in at the rear and don't have to purchase a ticket. Tickets for non-volunteers are available here. After tonight there is just one home game left in the season. During the game, the RBR will be performing pep tunes as usual. There will be no half-time performance this evening.
